Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

A plethora!

I know, I know, I've used this heading before, but I like the way the word feels when it rolls off the tongue. It's been a crazy past few days. We headed to WI on Friday to hang out with my soon to be sister-in-law, Kelli. Her bridal shower and bachelorette party were on Saturday. We got into Oshkosh around 6:30 pm on Friday night and ate pizza for Jason's birthday and then mom and I headed over to Kelli's parents house to decorate t-shirts for the following evening. I had brought Landree with us, so I could feed her. When we were all done we headed over to our hotel. Everything was good until the wind blew my t-shirt into Ryleigh's (which still had wet puffy paint on it). It was all good though, because well, first of all, it was just a shirt for fun that I was only going to wear probably this one night, and second of all, the puffy paint kind of peeled off! Basically moms said, "mom of groom" on it, mine said "bridesmaid" and Ryleigh's said "flower girl"! They turned out cute, considering I don't think of myself as being very creative and I made all three of them. While we were decorating shirts, Jason and Dad took Ryleigh swimming and did she ever have a great time. Then on Saturday morning, Jason and I took Ryleigh swimming again while Landree took a nap, and later that evening dad took her again. All the jostling of the 6 hour road trip kind of upset Landree's stomach, so she was spitting up every now and then, but that subsided by Saturday afternoon, until the car ride again on Sunday. Amazingly enough, the girls were fantastic on the way there, and really on the way back too. They only slept for about an hour on the way there, so it was fun trying to entertain a 4 month old, but luckily we had the DVD player for Ryleigh. Sunday, Ryleigh slept about 3 hours and Landree 4 hours, so there was a little less entertaining, and thank goodness, because I was TIRED! Saturday, Kelli's bridal shower started at 1pm and after that we went bowling. I thought my scores were good since I hadn't bowled in a while. First game: 113, second game: 115 (three strikes in the tenth frame in the second game). My mom, however kicked butt on the second game. Her score: 168 (and she doesn't even bowl)!! GOOD JOB MOM! I had to tease her a lot on Saturday about being athletic and such, she was a good sport! Then after that we went partying and hit up some bars, and we had the funniest cake for her bach party (I am not to sure I will share those pictures!) Mom and Kelli's mom went home early, but I stayed out with all the girls until 2 am. It's been a long time since I have gone out to the bar and went dancing and stayed up that late, I don't necessarily miss the bar, but I DO miss the dancing! Wisconsin doesn't have the no smoking in bars yet, so on Sunday when I woke up with this horrible headache and stuffy head (not from drinking), I blamed it on three things: 1) It went from 90 degrees on Friday to the 40's on Saturday with rainy weather 2) Smoking allowed in the bowling alley, restaurant, and bars and 3) I accidentally turned on the AC in the hotel room on Friday night. Anyhow, I am still sick today, but now my nose is like a leaky faucet and I can't get it turned off. Since, Ryleigh doesn't sleep in our room at night, I didn't realize what a RESTLESS sleeper she is, moving around and talking in her sleep. Then that in turn woke up Landree, so when it was finally 3 am and I wasn't sleeping because of them, I thought I turned on the fan and instead turned on the AC. Well, when we all woke up in the morning, we were all freezing. Oops! And although the weekend was a blast and Kelli had lots of fun, I don't regret not having a bachelorette party before my wedding. They got lots of nice gifts at the shower. I don't know if I've ever mentioned Kelli's niece, Madelyn? Well, she will soon be 5 and is also a flower girl. She has spina bifida and is in a wheelchair. Jason and I have been "preparing" Ryleigh for that and she was such a great kid. She asked once if she could push her and once to sit in her wheelchair, otherwise she was great and wanted to hang out with her the entire time at the shower. She thought it was a pretty nifty little gadget.........and it is! She can maneuver that thing better than I can maneuver wheelchair's at work. She is a doll and Ryleigh really liked her. They hit it off good, especially because Madelyn had some pretty cool "tatoos" on her arm!

Jason and I have been spending a lot of time together in the evenings listening to Dave Ramsey. It is very interesting. I am learning a lot about money and management, and I think Jason and I have come up with some good plans to become millionaires!! We will see. All I can say is, BABY STEPS! I just wish we would have known about this 5 years ago, but better late than never. I also started my exercising last week, which slowly dwindled and I am hoping to pick it back up again tomorrow. I am taking a break as the last two days I have been making up missed hours at work from leaving early on Friday and I have this rotten cold and feel like being lazy!

Landree is doing good, much better now that we are back on solid ground! She continues to sleep through the night from about 8pm-6:30am! She has however been different each night I have laid her down for the past few days and maybe it's because of the traveling, but some nights she goes to bed perfect and awake and other nights she cries for awhile until I go back into her room to let her know I've heard her and she is okay. I think she is teething too, she has had some nasty diapers and lots of drooling, and about two weeks ago I felt some sharp spots on her upper gum and they looked white. Now, this week they aren't as sharp, so I don't know what it was. She rolled over all on her own this evening 6 times. She just kept rolling over as soon as I would put her on her tummy. She has a 4 month check up on Friday and will be getting her immunizations. I will then, also, get to see how accurate my scale is on her weight.

Ryleigh is doing well too! She loved to be swimming this weekend so I am guessing she is going to be a little fish this summer. Tonight she was so funny and asked me, "Mom, do you know my Grandma?" I had to giggle. I am glad she isn't the only toddler that embarrasses her mommy with the things that come out of her mouth, although she has never said crotch, she has said some other things. Shut up seems to be a favorite and I am not sure where she hears some of these things although, I can only imagine. She has always been kind of a finicky eater, but tonight the only way she would eat supper was to use her chopsticks, she uses those things pretty good and I feel like half the time I use chocolate milk to get her to try new foods or to eat certain veggies. I have the most hilarious video of her dancing that I will get posted sometime this week. It's so funny, she has Landree smiling in it.

Oh, and I just wanted to thank my most dearest friend, Ana, for taking the pictures of the girls. They turned out so adorable....you are so talented. THANK YOU, AGAIN!!! Check them out on the side bar!!

Happy Birthday Jason!

Happy 29th Birthday to my "sweetie"! I hope you have a wonderful day traveling with half of the partridge family! We are off to WI for the bridal shower and bachelorette party. I hope Jason enjoys his birthday while traveling with my family. It should be fun though, the hotel we are staying in has a pool and Ryleigh has been so excited about it that she has been perfect at bedtime for the past two nights! She has gone to bed without any fuss. HAHA! Will update everyone on the trip when we return on Sunday, we are leaving tomorrow around noon.

Ryleigh is "Famous"!

Ryleigh made the front cover of the smart savings magazine here in Mankato for the months of April-June. She's famous. At least with the people who have recognized her (our friends, neighbors, and coworkers)! A friend of ours, Jenna, took her two year photos last summer and has been looking for ways to advertise herself. She called me almost a couple of months ago now and said she had called the magazine to get an ad in and then she asked if anyone had the front cover yet. When the guy told her no, she requested it. She then called me and asked if she could use one of Ryleigh's photos as she gets many compliments on her. I said of course. Well, the magazine goes out to every resident in Mankato and the surrounding communities and it came in the mail on a weekend, so needless to say, the following Monday morning, I had many copies on my desk at work!!!! We had Ryleigh autograph one copy which was cute, and to the grandparents..............you have a copy coming your way as well. Here are some pictures of the magazine cover, the actual picture and Ryleigh autographing it, and yes that is my cabbage patch doll from the early '80's that I got from Santa!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

Just wanted to give a special shout out to my parents on their anniversary. You guys rock. We are so proud of you and thankful for all that you do for us. WOW.....32 years.....that's pretty awesome now days! I hope your next 32 are better than the last. I am sure things always haven't been easy either, but sometimes you make it look like it. And since my memory has left me the closer I get to 30, you also will only get a blog entry today. Maybe next year I won't be so space cadety (if that's even a word!) and a nice card will be in store! HAHA! But I am excited to see you here soon this evening, and I have the best two presents waiting..............Ryleigh and Landree!!
Today is also Earth day............and since GREEN is the word, I just wanted to say how awesome and green our lawn is! All that snow sure gave it a good drink! All of the plants we planted last year are looking good and it's been nice having all this warm weather. I am looking forward to tomorrows forecast of 86 degrees!!! FINALLY!!! Jason and I are trying to be better at being "green", and trying to teach Ryleigh a few things as well. I am bad about water when I am brushing my teeth, but I am trying to be better. It's amazing how many faults you don't realize you have until trying to teach your children how to do the "right" things! LOL! Well, I am going to get going and maybe get me and the girls half packed for our trip to WI this weekend. We are going to my future sister-in-law's bridal shower. It should be lots of fun!

4 Months Old.....& Birthdays!

Miss Landree Isabelle is 4 months old today. She was supposed to have a 4 month checkup, but it has been postponed as her Dr. had to run off to deliver another baby! Anyways, she is getting so big. I weighed her with our scale at home butt naked and she weighed in at 13.6 #! We will see next week how accurate our scale is. Every day I look at her though, she seems to have gained a new roll around her thighs! And her wrists/ankles look like they've added some roll, too! If she is placed in front of a mirror or electrical outlet (don't worry, she can't touch it yet), she will get excited enough to where she rolls over from her tummy to her back.......but only if those two things are in front of her at this time!! (She is oh so close on rolling without those two things, maybe within the next week!) We had the girls' pictures taken on Saturday and I am excited to see how they turned out. I will share once I see them! Oh, that reminds me, we had a fabulous time on Saturday hanging out with Ryan, Ana and Lila (and the pups, too)! It is always good to see them, and don't worry Ana, you didn't talk too much. That's just how we women are and I had fun, so don't sweat it!

Also, I would like to wish Papa Danny a very Happy Birthday, I hope you enjoy the next two videos as they are just for you. It's been awhile since Ryleigh has sung Happy Birthday to someone, so she kind of got stuck, but she recovered well! And I had to add the second one because after she sang it once, she kept singing it and she just used your first name on that one. Lately, at times, she will call Jason or I by our names and it is funny, so I thought you would like to know you are a part of that "first name" calling. I am not sure what the deal is with her and her hands in her shirt?? But, it's cute to hear her sing! The first one almost looks like she is going to start making her armpits do that farting noise, haha! Hope you had a wonderful day! It was also good to see you and Terri, Shea and Josh last weekend. I am glad we got to hang out. Hope we can do it again real soon.

And last, but definitely not the least, a BIG Happy Birthday to my Grandma Leora!! I hope she had a wonderful day as well! They had a little shin dig for her on Saturday with all my aunts and uncles. My mom said it was a lot of fun, they had a good time and Grandma had a good day! I am excited I get to see her and my Grandpa as well as my other Grandma on the weekend of May 9th!

Blessed and Lucky!

I know I have been very crabby this past week and venting about things that I feel are important but after talking to my mom tonight I just want to say how very lucky and blessed I am. I would just like to say how lucky I am to have all my family (this includes Jason's family too) and friends in my life as well as a stable job. And, how blessed I am for all of these things too as well as my health. I want to thank God for all the wonderful things in my life that I often take for granted. Thanks, mom for letting me vent this evening, even though you have had a sad week. I just cry when I think of that young woman (my age) whom has been a loss in your community. I thank God every day for my family and most importantly for my wonderful husband and the two miracles that we have been blessed with. I even told Jason this afternoon, I couldn't imagine my life without Ryleigh and Landree. Sorry about the sappy post.

Tax Day!

I just had to get a picture of Landree in this top and get it posted today.....it just fit her and the day so perfect.......so here's our little 2008 tax deduction:

Here is the slide show I promised that goes with the blog entry below, titled: Easter Weekend '09. I figured out (on my own) how to get the pictures from our ever so lovely computer onto our ever so lovely laptop! Yay me! Enjoy!

Here is the video of Ryleigh Easter egg hunting. Thank you Aunt Shea and Josh for hiding Easter eggs for Ryleigh, she seemed to have a lot of fun once she got the hang of looking for them, they didn't jump out and bite her that's for sure!!

Easter Weekend '09

It's been one of those weeks that I will be happy when it's over. I started call on Friday at midnight and I am on call for an entire week. Usually the week on call goes pretty smooth, however, since Friday, it has been chaotic. Does anyone know if there is a full moon, because that is what it feels like. It started off with a 3:30 am phone call on Friday morning and seriously the work drama has yet to stop. I got called in to work the floor and did so on Friday at 6:30 am until they got someone to replace me at 11 am so I could get to work on my own work. I was hoping to get to leave early then, since I went in early, but that wasn't the case and I didn't sit down on my bum at home to relax until 6:30 pm. Saturday was a good day until about 3 pm when I got a lovely phone call from work. Anyways, I won't go into detail except to tell you that my parents came over to hang out with us. Before my parents came over, we took the girls to the park as it was gorgeous out. We fed the goats and ponies. They also have some new animals....two new cows, two calves and two ponies. We also saw two pigs in one of the barns, but they don't have a permanent home yet, so we only got to see them from a distance. My mom made and brought supper which was pork sandwiches, deviled or doubled eggs (I've heard it both ways), and homemade chocolate chip cookies. It was delicious. Dad helped Jason in the basement and they got the counter top cut to fit the cupboards in the bar area. They didn't stay too late as I had to work early on Easter Sunday morning. Ryleigh and Landree got some fun Easter baskets from them with a pair of jammies each. We had a lot of fun, as always, visiting with them. Mom, Ryleigh and I colored Easter eggs, too. Sunday morning, I was up before the sun and went into work from 4 am to 8 am. It went better than I expected and I was home before I knew it. When I got home, Jason had the girls up in bed with him, so I helped Mrs. Easter Bunny hide Easter eggs and got the girls' baskets out. Ryleigh was excited to find candy and money to "feed her pig" in some of the plastic eggs. She and Landree got some clothes from the Easter Bunny. They were much needed as Ryleigh has grown about 3 inches in the past few months and was wearing high waters, so now she has some pants that have some room to grow and Landree got some summer outfits as all of Ryleigh's 6 month clothing is wintry. Ryleigh also got some fun little things and the movie Pinocchio...........or in her words....nocchio. Then we went to church at 10:30 and this year, instead of baby chicks, they had a baby lamb for all the kids to pet. I didn't get any pictures of Ryleigh petting the lamb, but some of her close by it. I am not quick enough and with all the children to pet it, you have to be. Then after church we headed to Jason's dads house and had a wonderful ham dinner. Ryleigh and Landree got some more Easter baskets with goodies in them. Then Aunt Shea and Josh hid some eggs outside for Ryleigh. They were easy to find but not right out on the grass, so Ryleigh had to work at finding them. She did pretty good once she got the hang of it. Landree had a fussy day, so we changed her out of her dress and got her fed and a good nap (I took one with her as we were both tired). I was going to get her back into her dress to take a family picture, but while we were sleeping, Ryleigh went potty on the toilet and her dress fell in the urine water. YUCK. So, needless to say, no family picture. I was upset at first (mostly b/c I was tired and tired of things not going my way) until Jason pointed out that the most important thing was that we were together. Sometimes, I love how he puts things into perspective for me.........sometimes!!!! The girls also got an Easter package from Nana Peggy and just loved everything inside. I got some good pictures of that, too! So, thank you to all the grandparents for the wonderful gifts.....the girls just loved them. We got home just in time for baths on Sunday and the girls got to bed in time. Oh, and Ryleigh missed her nap on Sunday and was great considering. Not too crabby and listened well, and slept like a log. I was just glad she wasn't a bear. Well, that's about all that happened. I would love to share all the pictures with you all, however, our computer has hit my last nerve and I threw it out the window.....just joking, but I'd like to! We need to fix it and since our laptop is from the 1800's (wink) I can't d'load pictures onto it. So, the nice slide show I have of our weekend and the lovely video I have of Ryleigh Easter egg hunting will have to be viewed by all another day. Hopefully sooner than later. Glad to hear everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Happy Birthday Aunt Andie!

Happy Birthday to my SIL, Andie! Hope your day was great and hope turning the BIG 3-0 wasn't too bad!!! I can't wait to hear how you celebrated. Sorry it wasn't Vegas! LOL! I on the other hand, have had better Friday's! Don't worry, I am not going to bore you all with the details.... I don't want to ruin anyone's day. I am just thankful for my hubby, my mom and my friends for letting me vent and cry to them today, I am somewhat embarrassed that I let all the craziness of the day get to me.......I am going to blame on it hormones (if you'll all still let me). The evening turned out good, especially when I got home and got a big hug from Ryleigh and the biggest smile from Landree. Jason didn't feel like cooking tonight and I sure in the heck didn't feel like cooking so we ordered pizza and it was delicious. I love pay day! I can't wait to share pictures of the basement as it is really coming together, but I probably won't get to that in the next week. Ryleigh and Landree went to the park today...I love when they get fresh air, they just sleep better. Ryleigh biffed it on the slide and hit her lip, so it was kind of fat this evening, but looks like it won't look too bad. KIDS!!! Lately, she can be so clumsy.....you think it's a growth spurt?.......Hmmmm! Her and Jason also flew her kite tonight. There wasn't much of a breeze, so they had to run to get it up. A few times it stayed up, but mostly they had to run. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for it. I will add pictures from tonight as I got a good one of it in the air. Ryleigh had fun running next to Jason, I think she would have even more fun if there were a breeze and she could hold the kite. Landree is doing great and keeps laughing more and more every day. She isn't a fan of lying on her back lately, she likes to see her world. She is funny to watch on her back these past couple of days though because she will lift her head and her legs at the same time and make this grunting like face. I think we are going to color eggs tomorrow and hang out with Gramma Pam and Papa Kev and then our plans on Sunday are to hang out with Papa Danny and Gramma Terri, Aunt Shea and Josh. We are also going to have an Easter egg hunt for Ryleigh tomorrow as it is supposed to be beautiful here. I am excited. She colored Easter eggs on Thursday at daycare so she should be a pro when we do it tomorrow. Well, hope all our readers have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter!

Viewing Pleasure #2!!

So, I can already tell this is going to be a long couple of weeks. Starting Friday, it is my first week back on call since probably sometime in Nov. And, although everything looks good (esp with the schedule), nothing ever goes completely perfect on a "holiday" weekend, but I am still going to knock on wood. Since I have been back at work, I am kind of a space cadet. I missed all the Easter egg hunts this past weekend, however it was kind of cold to be out anyways (even thought I am sure some were moved indoors). Oh well, I kind of misplaced my brain that next weekend was Easter already. Jason and I are just going to hide eggs anyways this coming weekend for Ryleigh, then there won't be such big crowds and it is supposed to be in the 50-60 degree range for weather.........much better than last weekend. I was talking to Jason about my being a space cadet and he said I probably just set it aside since we had other plans of going to Nebraska.

Ryleigh is doing good. Definitely back to her normal self. Her flower girl dress is in and is adorable. I am not posting pictures of it yet until I get an okay from Kelli, so you will all have to wait to see it, plus I need to get the shoulder straps shortened so it fits her a little better and I need to find some shoes to go with it. She was so excited when Jason brought it home, she had to change into it immediately and wanted to wear it all day............haha, not going to happen!! She did pose for some pictures in a very "lady like" manner and was ornery when I was trying to take it off. She kept saying I am a princess in Uncle Ryan's wedding. She has tried her hand at playing my harmonica and I have downloaded some video so you can all hear it, it actually doesn't sound that bad.....and once she got the hang of it she would whip it across her lips to play all the notes. I will have to get video of that at a later date!

Landree is doing good and getting stronger every day. She is so happy, content and quiet, sometimes we don't even know shes in the room. Ryleigh cries more than she does! :) I have some video of her to post as well, they are kind of boring ones, but you can at least see what she looks like. I have been unable to get her to laugh the way she did at Ryleigh when she was playing with the balloon, but I am sure it will get more and more. I do have a little video where I am blowing on her feet, which makes her smile and laugh too, however in this video she just kind of does a small giggle, not her full out laugh like we've heard. She is getting strong on her tummy and if we have her arms right under her, she is able to push herself over onto her back. Today she was arching her back in the air while lying on her back too, pushing off with her one foot, kind of trying to go onto her tummy, it's just the beginning though as she is definitely not strong enough for that yet. In fact, the other day I was doing tummy time up on the bathroom counter because she loves looking at herself in the mirror and since she loves to push herself and roll onto her back up there, I had my hand to keep her from rolling into the sink. Well, she tricked me and went rolling the other way smacking her head into the wall! (poor kid, it was the second time she has smacked her head on something this past week). She just looked at me and smiled, didn't even let out a little cry......she's tough! She has stayed healthy through all of us not feeling well so that's a plus. Also, if she sleeps all night tonight, it will be an entire week that she has slept from 8pm to 6:30 am at the earliest, 8:30 am at the latest. Talk about nice, I got to sleep in both Sat and Sun (thanks to Jason for getting up with Ryleigh), but both days she slept from 8 pm - 8:30 am!!!! The following video is about three weeks ago already and she just kind of smiles and does this cough. Whenever she coughs, and we give her attention over it, she will do about three more "fake" coughs. Quite comical.

Jason and I are doing well. Happy to be employed during these times. They laid off 40 nurses and nursing assistants (mostly nurses) about two weeks ago at the local hospital and then on Friday they were going to lay off 100 more nurses, nursing assistants and doctors...mostly nurses, at the same hospital. I was actually thinking about getting a job there, but since I was pregnant most of last year and insurance is through my job, I decided to just to stay put. Now, I am kind of glad I did. Being pregnant was a secret blessing in disguise (in more ways than one !!) We are almost finished staining the woodwork in the basement. Jason has been talking for a few weeks now about buying this guitar, he was going to check this one out from some guy he knows in a band, and when he came home with it last week, told me he had bought it. So, he is excited about learning that. His friend also recently bought one a couple of weeks ago too just for fun, so now every time I think of them I hear that country song.............start a band by Brad Paisley and Keith Urban!!! I got my harmonica out to help tune it. It's been a few years since I have played that, and I only knew simple songs, but I think it will be fun. Ryleigh keeps saying, "daddy, can I play your violin.......please?" I guess that is what she is used to from her music classes and it does look like a giant violin, so I give her credit....at least it's in the same family. I kind of wouldn't mind learning the guitar as well. This next video is of me blowing on Landree's feet, which usually gets her to laugh, but at least you get to see her smile and sort of giggle.

This next video is of Landree holding a rattle and shaking it. Some days she can find her rattle or pacifier and pick it up, usually bringing it to her mouth to gnaw on.

FINALLY....the basement pictures!

So, here are a couple of slide shows of the basement before and during finishing it. We do have it completely painted, but are now staining the woodwork and doors. I will get pictures of it painted soon, but for right now this is what I have. You can see we have been up to a lot of hard work (okay more Jason, but I did help paint!!!!)

For Your Viewing Pleasure!

Here are a few videos of Ryleigh for your viewing pleasure. This first one is of her saying some shapes she's been learning about. She knows more, but this is all I could get out of her that day (this was when she was at home with pneumonia):

This next one is of Ryleigh saying her prayer before meal time. It goes: Bless us, o Lord, and these thy gifts, which we are about to receive, from thy bounty, through Christ our Lord, Amen.

This is at the park when Ryleigh asked if I could give her and "underdog" and she recently learned how to pump, so she is showing me how to do that as well.

I absolutely love the way she says "triangle" or in her language, "triangagle"!!

Now, don't take this one the wrong way, but I did save the best one for last. The lady who takes care of the girls during the day while we work is very creative, you have probably heard her name a time or two in the blog, it is Cindy. She seriously has a song that she makes up and sings for every single one of her "daycare" kids. This is the one that she has sung about Ryleigh since she was probably about six months old. I am still waiting to hear what she comes up for with Landree. Anyways, here are the words: Ryleigh Grace, Ryleigh Grace, she has got a pretty face. She don't care, she don't care if all the people stop and stare!! Ryleigh has sang the first verse for a few months, but within the past three months has recently also added the second verse. It is adorable. Hope you all enjoy! We decided to also stay in Mankato this weekend as it is supposed to start snowing tonight in MN, IA and NE. Tomorrow evening it is supposed to start blowing, therefore causing blizzard like conditions into Sunday morning and we didn't want to chance having the girls out in that, so we decided to stay home. BUMMER. I was looking forward to seeing family, but hopefully (if it ever warms up) we will head back there the beginning of May for Haley's H.S. graduation! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

April Fools Day!

Well, I thought I was getting fooled this morning by my friend, Laci, however her "joke" was actually the truth. First I got a text message from her telling me she was having contractions 5 minutes apart and heading to the hospital. I was excited and texted her back but then remembered it was April Fools Day. So, I texted her back asking her if it was an Aprils Fools joke and that I wouldn't be surprised if I got to work and she was there. But, she wasn't there.........she was at the hospital and she and her hubby welcomed their 2nd baby into the world at 11:37 am, a healthy baby boy named Carson Jon. CONGRATS LACI AND JUAN!!! Everyone is doing good and I can't wait to meet him. If I didn't have this awful cold, I would have gone up to the hospital this evening, but I don't want to get anyone sick, so I stayed home......BOO :( !! The girls are doing great. Yesterday was hysterical. I was in the kitchen cooking supper and Jason had the girls in the office playing. Ryleigh had some balloons that Danny and Terri had brought over for her on Sunday and she was trying to catch one balloon and it kept floating back up after her hands would touch it. Her and Jason were laughing when all of a sudden Landree started laughing. It was so funny. Jason thought she was crying at first, but when he looked down realized she was laughing at Ryleigh. I tried grabbing the camera to get it on film, however as soon as I grabbed that and she saw it she stopped and then we couldn't get her to laugh again. She probably had a good 15 seconds of REALLY laughing. It is so fun to see her personality come alive, she is such a good baby. Sometimes, Jason and I don't even know she's around because she is so content where ever she is. But, when she gets hungry she lets us know. She is so opposite of Ryleigh. I have tons of video of the girls to add to the blog, however I am so tired and want to get to bed early to get rid of this cold. I also have the slide shows of the basement almost ready. I have to do two separate ones as I have a few more pix than will fit on one slide show. Jason and I, the girls and my mom are heading to Nebraska this weekend to hang out with all my grandparents and visit family. It should be fun and hopefully the weather cooperates! Other than that, nothing else new going on!
