Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

We were invited to a mother/daughter gingerbread house making night at our friends house! It was a lot of fun. There was pizza, hot chocolate and tons of stuff to make a gingerbread house! This was a first annual so hopefully it continues!

Christmas Day!

Mom and Dad spent the night and Christmas Day brought a visit from Santa and the tooth fairy as Landree lost a tooth on Christmas Eve! LOL! Grandma Terri and Grandpa Danny came to hang out as well! Lets just say this was a most memorable Christmas. Ryleigh was up at 1:40 am and saw that Santa had come, so she of course, couldn't get back to sleep. My dad ended up heading to the couch to see if he could sleep better and tried getting Ryleigh to sleep again as it was quite early. He had fallen asleep and woke up a short time later to all 3 girls up and at 'em. At 3 am, Jason heard them and told them to get to bed. At 3:40 am, I finally went into their room, laid down with Reese and told them that if they didn't get some sleep, if they didn't stop talking or moving, they would not get to play with their American girl dolls that Santa had brought them the next day. Lets just say, they finally went to sleep. This mama fell asleep in Reese's bed and woke up at 5 am to everyone sleeping soundly and headed back in to cuddle with Jason. Man, oh man. And, wouldn't you know, the next day the only ones tired, were the adults. A Christmas to remember for sure!
