Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

Last of February

Short and sweet!

Spent a few hours with Landree at school for leap into reading day! Lots of fun!

This made me smile!

Working on some Kindergarten workbooks I bought her!
Onto March!!

February: Dads and doughnuts

Jason's last dads and doughnuts for preschool took place in February! Looks like it was a fun time!!!

February happenings from my phone!

Man, looking back at pictures, I think we got the most snow in February!! The girls did some winter activities that started in January and finished in February! Ryleigh played basketball which she loves but has gotten irritated the last couple of years as she has been either the only girl or 1 of 2! Landree played Volleyball and they both did some skiing lessons which they enjoyed! Ryleigh caught on quick and was moved off the bunny hills during her first lesson!

Didn't know until we got there, but Landree's friend was at skiing lessons, too!!

We made ice cream out of snow!
Reese wanted her hair curled:
Then, there was Valentines Day!

Reese had a Valentines party at preschool and I volunteered to help! As you can see, I was in charge of games!

January happenings from my phone!

Moms and muffins Day took place in January! All three of my girls have gone to the same preschool, and I'm so glad as I got to have a moms and muffin day with all 3 of them!!! Reese cracks me up guessing my age as 56!! First time in my life I've been guessed over my actual age rather than under!!

Koo Koo kangaroo was in town so we had to go check them out! Especially since the girls (especially Kindergarten and 1st grade) listen to them in their classrooms!

Then we headed to Nebraska for a Christmas with the Dinslage clan!

These pictures were sent to me from Ryleigh's teacher! The 4th graders and their Kindergarten buddy when sledding together at school!
I love hanging out with this nut!!
Ryleigh went to the cities with her friend for a weekend of fun at the hotel Waterpark and to MOA!
Onto February!!

Reese's 5th birthday party!

I still can't believe my baby is 5! She had been asking for months if I could make her a wedding cake for her birthday. She's been into people getting married and weddings and just can't get enough. We attended the wedding of our previous day care lady's, son, Xavier in January and the TV show we watch as a family had a wedding, so as you can see she's been a little obsessed. Everything has been getting married in this house, from barbies, to the girls! So, I was kind of stumped at first with how to do her cake but in the end, I had a bride cake and Ken standing next to her. I was pretty impressed with how it turned out. I think it might by the most fun and best cake I've made/decorated to date!! She did have a small party with some friends (a few were unable to attend) right here at our house and it appeared to be a fun time for all. There was presents, cake, ice cream, pinata, and the best: just playing!!!

Reese and her preschool BFF's: Lexi and Riley!

These 2 have become such great friends, they actually fight like sisters!

This cracks me up....she's singing to herself!
