Yay, I did it, I made my goal of 100 posts this year. It was tough let me tell you! I know, I know, it's not quite what it's been in the past two years, but it's been a busy year with a few computer problemos here and there! It really has been crazy though, too. I too, have thought about things that I think at the moment, "oh that would be a great post to put on the blog" or if the girls do something cute or say something funny I think, "oh, I should blog about that later", however two hours later, I might completely forget about what it was I was thinking about blogging about or it turns into days and then I definitely cannot remember. I was just telling a coworker that I need to keep post it notes and a pen on me at all times at home, kind of like what I do at work!!
Ryleigh has said a few things lately that have completely cracked me up, but for the life of me I can't remember most of them. Some I have written down. She has been really into praying and Jesus and God lately. Which is great, it's just sometimes, I am not quite sure I know how to answer her questions. She has been making up her own songs and carrying a tune with them...I don't know, maybe someday she'll be a music artist!! The words that sing out of her mouth are so funny sometimes. She is also our little night owl. Bedtime for quite some time has been a challenge, lately I have been keeping her up later, because it's just easier. She still manages to get a good amount of hours of sleep in a day and has completely stopped napping on the weekends. She is very into helping with "cleaning" around the house, "doing the dishes" and "folding clothes". She's been A LOT of "help" (do you sense the sarcasm?) HEHE!! But she thinks she's helping me out a lot and someday I will want her to help, so I am trying to be patient about some of the stuff. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so anal!
Landree continues to add words to her vocab. Most animals, instead of saying what they are, if she sees a picture or a real one, she will make the noise instead. She says "thank you" and "love you" so good. In fact, even a stranger at the grocery store understood her thank you when she was given a sticker for being good!! And, I love her please...............it sounds like "peeze"!! She's a turkey though and can be very stubborn when we try to get her to talk. She's kind of a slow poke in the potty training department as well, but I realized Ryleigh was 2 years and 2 months when she was completely trained during the day and so I am not to worried about it. Some mornings when she wakes up dry, she will go potty and sometimes before her bath or bed she will go potty if she's dry. But, she's also been telling us if she's gone "poopy" in her diaper. It's funny with the second one, how you are a little more laid back in when they accomplish something, for me anyways. What else about our little love muffin, besides that she will be turning 2 here in a couple of weeks?? Well, if you ever need a hug and kiss, you can get one from her, she doesn't turn down anyone especially if they are having a rough day, it's enough to melt your heart!! Her pucker is the best I've seen around!! :)
This week, it got pretty cold here, so I am hoping it will start warming up with the snow we're supposed to get. And, it looks as though we will be having a white Christmas!! We have found two sets of deer tracks in our yard and eaten greenery, but haven't seen them around. Just down the street though, the other night on my way home from the grocery store, I was at the beginning of a long line of cars that were stopped while 10 deer crossed the road. It was pretty cool that wildlife is so close to our house, it's almost like living in the country.
Baby #3 is doing great. This pregnancy is going just as smooth as the first two did. In fact, I really don't mind being pregnant at all!! No "side effects" as of yet. I am being monitored for a low lying placenta, however even with running my race, I have had no problems. I do get an extra ultrasound here in about a month due to the issue just to make sure all is well. We've been feeling the baby moving quite a bit, but today, it was showing it's strength by kicking or punching out at me and it was pretty cool to see my belly finally moving on the outside. Since Ryleigh has felt it move, she is constantly touching my belly and kissing it. In her words, "I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER FOR THE BABY TO COME" and I thought we did a good job of waiting to tell her because I knew this would be her reaction. She wants to name it Charlie regardless if it is a boy or a girl!! :) I can't believe I am 24 weeks already. It's funny, while pregnant with Ryleigh I was thinking, "is this baby ever going to come out?" with Landree it got a little faster and with this baby, I am telling Jason, "we need to talk about names otherwise it will be March and we won't have any"!! It's going extremely fast! Here are some 24 week photos!!
