Reese trying her hand at pull-ups! She did pretty good when Jason let her go on her own! They love "working out" in the workout room!!

There was a beautiful morning this past week. Truly a wintery wonderland! Quite magical feeling! This is one thing I would miss if I didn't live here (trying to be positive about winter)!

Yep, she wore this hat to preschool! I didn't realize it until I went to get her out of the car! She refused to switch out my hat for the Captain Morgan hat, but she did let me turn it around as we were getting ready to walk up to the school to be greeted by the principal, Sister Mary Beth! I was glad when it was shoved into her locker, but then when I went to pick her up, as she ran out the door with the hat on the right way, one of the teachers yelled out after her, "NICE HAT, MOM!!!!!!" At least her ears and head were warm, I guess! Life is never dull with this kid!

 

Last but not least, my newest bookworm! I just had to snap a picture when she was reading to me, her little legs crossing is so cute! 

This week I got all Christmas decorations put away. Found homes for new Christmas presents. Put in a box to give to a special baby coming April (not ours, we're done)....some hand me down toys that my kids have outgrown! Went thru Reese and Landrees closet and have a tote full of clothes to donate that have been outgrown! Signed the older girls up for volleyball, basketball and skiing for the next few weeks! That should keep us busy through the end of February! I promised Reese she could do gymnastics when she turned 5, so looks like March will be full of gymnastics! Life is never boring! Stay tuned to our craziness!!

Happy New Year!

Happiest of New Years to our followers! Here's to the best year yet! So far it's been good besides a cold that has caught Ryleigh and I. We did a lot of playing in the snow after it finally came during school/Christmas break! The girls spent most of their time outdoors for a few days, playing with neighbor kids! Jason came home with a sled one of the days and so he attached it to the 4-wheeler and him and I pulled the girls through a local park. It was a blast!

Then we brought in the New Year with some friends, met some new people and had an enormous spread of yummy food! There were a ton of kiddos (Ryleigh "babysat" one of the little boys who clung to her side)! She felt like such a big girl! She's always loved babies and little kids and does so well with them! It was a lot of fun! The girls all made it til midnight and had some white grape juice in some flutes to ring in the new year after watching the ball drop! We headed home at about 1am! (😜😜)

I was going to get a picture with each of the girls and Jason but here's how far I got:

Then on New Years Day, we headed to a fun filled wedding! Our daycare provider's, who had watched all the girls as babies and had done daycare for us for 8 years (before I decided to stay home and work part time), son, Xavier got married! The girls got front row seats as they sat with the grooms sister! Then we headed over to Benderz bar & grill for food and dancing! It was pretty relaxing for Jason and I as the girls were whisked away by the the kids of our daycare provider! While they were dancing, we got to hang out with Cindy, catch up and reminisce! Fun was had by all! Since the girls were up reaaaaallllyyyyy late the night before & despite their efforts to try and con us into another hour of dancing, we headed home and straight for bed at around 8:30 pm!

I didn't bring my camera to the wedding and my phone didn't take great pictures at the dance, but we all had a great time!
