The Summer, so far!
Oh my gosh, you guys!!! This has been the best summer I think I've ever had...........EVER!! We have, so far, done everything I think you can do in a summer besides fish and camp and we'll probably get those done next weekend when we head to Ponca!! Besides being crazy busy having fun, and Jason hogging the main computer with all the pictures on it, it appears I've been a little lacking in the blogging department. Oh, but when he does let me borrow it, I have tons of pictures to share ranging from Ryleigh's "graduation" from Kindergarten to our latest adventure, this evening, a moondogs baseball game!! Ryleigh's been busy playing softball and somewhat enjoying it for the most part, she's had her dramatic moments. But, as she says it best, she is the drama Queen and I am the mama Queen!! She even had her first sleepover this past weekend :( My baby's growing up. Of course, if you sleepover here, Landree is a part of the package deal as she and Ryleigh have become pretty close....yes, they have their moments (almost daily), but they are pretty inseparable and are always playing together, lately they play house (Landree is the mom) or dollhouse, or barbies or horses. Only at times, do I have to calm the waters these days. Someday, I hope they enjoy playing with Reese that much, but for right now they are constantly begging me to keep Reese away from their fun little play areas. Reese continues to talk up a storm. Once she becomes familiar with you, she will repeat almost anything you say. In the past few weeks, she has had many new words enter her vocabulary. Some new ones since last time are: RyRy (Ryleigh), LaLa (Landree), ball, and thank you. She has some more, but I can't think of them. And, she's been perfecting some of her previous words. I missed a birthday on the blog, on the 14th, my niece, Zoee turned the big 1!! I am so excited as I get to see her and of course, her mommy and daddy on Wednesday, when they fly into Minneapolis and we get to spend some time with them in Ponca, too. I can't wait. Also, a happy anniversary to Jeremy and Andie, yesterday. 6 years, way to go!! Hopefully pictures to come soon!! Until I get to borrow the laptop again...adios!

LOVE THIS GIRL
This past weekend!
Jason and I had a nice relaxing weekend at home. We spent the majority of it outside with the girls. Last weekend we set up our pool when it was 90 degrees and then the next day it dropped into the 50's. Seriously, only in MN. Anyhow, that was still cold, so we did other things instead. Today the neighbor girls and our girls played in their bounce house for a couple of hours. You should have seen Reese in this thing. I would never have let Ryleigh go in that when she was 14 months old. I guess, with your first one, your just a little more paranoid. I don't know. She had a blast though with the 4 older girls. What else, we planted some stuff, replanted some stuff, filled the sandbox with sand, got dirty, went for a drive to visit my dad on Saturday, had supper with him, played some catch and came home. Landree is learning how to pump on her swing and did it perfectly for me today. She also got into a fight with our lamp table last weekend and this week, this shiner appeared. It's almost gone now, but I had to get a picture. Poor thing had a headache for a few hours afterwards.
| She lost. |
This week, I have a vacation and the girls and I are working on some plans. We are going to make a trip to the zoo, play with the neighbors, have a picnic lunch, use up a pizza certificate that Ryleigh won at school for being a good girl, and the most exciting thing is we are going to an air show, where the Navy's Blue Angels will be putting on a show. I can't wait and I think the girls will love it as they love airplanes. I have been awaiting this for a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ryleigh started softball this year. She requested to play it, so we signed her up. We'll see how it goes. She had a softball clinic last week and when we were driving home, she said, "that was sooooooooooooo much funner than soccer!" Hopefully, she likes it the whole time. If not, I just think she might not be a sportster like her mama.
**Stay tuned......I have more pictures and a post of our Kindergarten graduate!!!! So proud of my Ryleigh Grace.
Some wedding photos
Here are some quick shots at Josh and Shea's wedding! I didn't get a chance to pretty them up, so this is what you get for now. I have lots more, maybe I will get a chance to share sometime....bah, ha, ha.

Now, I didn't get any pictures of the ceremony, because, well, a little ring bearer decided to jump the gazebo fence and I went to rescue him (from horses, electric fences, etc.) Not to mention my sandal broke before the ceremony and so here I am running after Thatcher, hopping piles of horse manure with a broken sandal. It was funny, luckily I had an extra pair of flip flops in the car!!
Requesting Prayers this week.
Many prayers needed for people close to us this past week.
Jason's Grandpa Ray was in the ICU for some heart problems this week. He is at home and doing well, now.
Josh's dad passed away this week unexpectedly at the young age of 53. Josh, Shea and Thatcher are in our prayers and I ask that everyone say a prayer for them. We met Josh's dad at their wedding and he made us all laugh, he was hilarious and fun to be around, cracking jokes the whole time. I wish I could give both of them a big hug during this difficult time.
My mom and dad's neighbor boy, whose high school graduation was this week was in a farming accident on Thursday. He is doing well and at North Memorial Hospital in the cities where he had his leg amputated above his knee. He is in good spirits, but has a long, hard road ahead. He needs lots of prayers as well.
Thanks all. Be thankful for all that you have and don't take anything for granted.

Birthday's!
Okay, so I missed some very important birthday's already (and other important dates)!!
First off, I just want to wish Mr. Thatcher a happy 2nd birthday which was in May. However, we did get to celebrate with him at his very cool birthday party. Here is a cute shot of him in the bounce house. Everythings kind of blurry except his little face. It was fun.
Next, I wanted to wish my Grandpa Ray a very happy 90th birthday (which was on the first of June). I get to see him in about 3 weeks and we will have a little party for him in Ponca!
Grandpa Ray Quint - 91 years in May.
Uncle Al's birthday on the 1st also.
Happy Anniversary to Danny and Terri in May.
